The announcement of today's Dia Dynamos brings the total to 15 in honor of Dia's 15th Anniversary this month!

Reflections for Día’s 15th Anniversary
Let’s see ourselves as part of the Día National Community connected by our commitment to the potential of each child and to the pleasure and power of literacy.
I am pleased to announce the winners of our 2011 DNDL mini-grants. This year, due to some generous donors, we are able to offer 3 mini-grants! Our winners are:
James Madison Middle School in Madisonville, KY. The application was submitted by Peggy Phelan. The event will be held on April 29 at the James Madison Middle School Library. Activities will include reading aloud books by Latino authors, sharing Latin music with the school band, enjoying the art of Latino artists Rafael Lopez, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, sharing Spanish phrases and enjoying tasty treats. Parents will be invited to enjoy the event with their children.
